Join Black Voices Cornwall as we celebrate the 77th Anniversary of the Windrush.
On June 22nd 1948, 500 + people from the Caribbean came to Britain to help rebuild the country after the war. The first HMT Empire Windrush voyage arrived in Tilbury Docks in London. Thousands of people and their families came for many years afterwards. The people from the Caribbean not only brought their incredible skill they also brought their vibrant culture.
Join us for an evening of music, food, cocktails, exhibition, and fun provided by people either from the Windrush Generation or linked to them.
