About the event
Black Voices Cornwall is hosting a immersive printing workshop. You'll have the opportunity to design and print onto tote and jewellery bags using African inspired colours, prints and symbols, with emphasis on the Adrinkra Symbols. You'll then be able to take your uniquely printed bags home to show off or gift to loved ones.
The workshop will be led by the fabulos artist, Maria Cockle. We only ask that you come ready to immerse yourself into a part of African culture and leave with community connections and of course, beautifully printed bags!
This event is kindly funded by Seasalt Cornwall.
We are so excited to get arty and inspired with you!!
Please note: There are limited spaces available, please only secure a ticket if you can definitely attend! If you can no longer attend, please email Abi on events@blackvoicescornwall.org as soon as possible so we can make your ticket available…
